"(Where Do I Begin?) Love Story" is a popular song published in 1970, with music by Francis Lai and lyrics by Carl Sigman. The song was first introduced as an instrumental theme in the 1970 film Love Story. The lyrics were added after the theme music became popular.

The song also served as the theme of the 1973-1974 NBC romantic anthology television series Love Story.

The song has been covered many times. Andy Williams recorded originally and made the biggest hit version reaching #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the easy listening chart for four weeks,[1] in addition to #4 on the UK Singles Chart. A "disco" version was recorded by Williams in 1979.

The song was also recorded by Lai himself (U.S. #31) with a full orchestra, and by Henry Mancini (U.S. #13), Vikki Carr, Nino Tempo & April Stevens, Glen Campbell, Rick Astley, Johnny Mathis, José José, Astrud Gilberto, Shirley Bassey, Patricia Kaas, Nana Mouskouri, Paul Mauriat, Donald Braswell II, Johnny Pearson and Richard Clayderman. Williams performed the song with Miss Piggy in an episode of The Muppet Show.

There is also a Romanian cover of this song by Aurelian Andreescu, as well as a French one by Mireille Mathieu, and Korean remake by G.Fla. In the Philippines, It was recorded by the popular Filipino singer-actress Nora Aunor and was part of her The Golden Hits of Nora Aunor Album.

An Italian cover under the title "Grazie amore mio" sung by Patty Pravo in her album "Di vero in fondo" in 1971. The Italian Lyrics are by Sergio Bardotti.
